Supervised by Renee Osborne, MA, LPC-S
Betsie is provisionally licensed to provide counseling in the state of Texas (in person and Telehealth).
After working in education for 12 years in South Africa, I moved to the United States in 2019. This move provided me with an opportunity to reevaluate, and embark on a new journey.
In December 2024 I graduated from the Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Liberty University. Since then, I completed post-graduate specialist training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), SYMBIS pre-marital counseling, and the Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1.
Creating a safe, supportive space for my clients is at the heart of my practice. I believe that healing is possible for everyone, and my goal is to provide guidance and encouragement as my clients work through life’s difficulties toward restoration and renewed hope.
On a personal note, my husband and I love spending time outdoors, and we share our home with our beloved dachshund, Levi. I am deeply grateful for the Lord’s grace in my life, and for the opportunity to serve others in this profession. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside those seeking healing and growth.
